Students enrolled in the programme will learn about a broad range of formulations and pharmaceutical technologies through the use of examples and case studies along lectures on lectures on underpinning sciences. He/she will be given hand-on experience in a number of pre-formulation and formulation technologies, biotechnology, drug stability, quality assurance/control, management and regulatory affairs.
The programme duration is 24 months evenly divided into four semesters. The first, second and third semesters comprise of taught courses involving lectures, practical sessions, tutorials and industrial and other pharmaceutical sites visits. The fourth semester involves a laboratory-based research project or a critical review of the literature.
