The Initial-Boot Camp of the Global MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship-edition 3, UMST Khartoum Campus, was taught online by Prof.Fabio Petroni Director of Programs at E4 Impact Foundation. The Global MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship is offered in partnership with Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, Italy and E4 Impact Foundation.
The duration of the Initial Boot Camp was 3 weeks: 2 weeks of online sessions, and 1 week of ongoing coaching. The Boot Camp has ended with the Business Idea Competition that was held on Saturday the 30th of January, 2021 at the Global Conference Center (GCC), UMST.
During the competition, the students were divided into five different groups based on industry (e.g. Agribusiness, ICT, Manufacturing, Services …) and they pitched their business ideas to a jury which consist of business owners, investors, digital marketing specialist, alumni, and university professors.
The Business Idea Competition ended with the declaration of winners based on best stand-ups (idea stage), start-ups (implementation stage), Scale-ups (growth stage), and best social impact (The business has a relevant potential for social / environmental impact).
