The University Honors its Winning Knights


On Tuesday the 8th, at the Global Conference Centre {GCC} the University honored its knights who won the International University Contest, which held last month in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The honored team is composed of three students from the Faculty of Business Administration an and one from the Faculty of Computer Science, On the same me occasion, the University also honored five students from the Faculty of Pharmacy who participated in an international conference also held in Amsterdam last month. The honored students received commemorative shields and certificates appreciation.
Dr. Hafez Homeida, the University Deputy President addressed the gathering highlighting the record of distinction achieved by the various faculties.

He added that although the University is widely recognized for medical sciences, it has started to win awards in other areas of academic excellence. He announced that the University has decided to grant the winning students scholarships to pursue Master’s and Doctorate studies at the University, if they so wish.
It is worth noting that Professor Mamoun Homeida, Chairman of the University Board of Trustees, has directed the University Administration to implement the solutions proposed by the students’ in their project to remedy problems impacting the University environment.
The gathering was addressed by Dr. Ahmed Babiker, Dean, Students Affairs, the representative of Konica, the sponsoring company of the International Universities Contest, the representative of the winning students in the international University Contest and the representative of the winners from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the World Pharmaceutical Congress.
