Designed to help communities, organizations and individuals to spark conversation and connection, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxUMST, where x = independently organized TED event.
Spearheaded by Biomedical student, Bhaa Elamin and a team of student volunteers who have worked throughout the year planning, promoting and organizing to bring those lucky enough to get in to what looks set to be a memorable and insightful night.
“At TEDxUMST we want to shed light on the fact that by using innovative technology, our lives and the way we interact with people will be entirely different and that we are all connected, every second of every minute, of every hour, of every day – will be different,” Bhaa Elamin.
In partnership with UMST University and Frawlaa Media Productions, TEDxUMST’s live speakers will explore the evolvement of technology to ignite deep discussion and connection with the audience and beyond.
Keeping the event exclusive, seats are limited, prices for which start at SDG 60 for UMST students, SDG 65 for UMST alumni and personnel and SDG 70 for all others.
TEDxUMST will be held on the University’s campus in El Riyadh.
