PhD Nursing Sciences
The Doctor of Nursing (Ph.D.N.Sc) is a three years programme of fulltime doctoral study designed for professional nursing, MSc.N degree holders seeking specialty preparation at an advanced level of nursing education and practices, in one of previously mentioned five nursing specialties. It prepares qualified nursing for leadership roles with emphasis on:
- Philosophical, ethical and scientific principles the foundation for leader ship in professional nursing care.
- Continued acquisition of knowledge and clinical skills in an area of advanced practice specialisation.
- Evidence –based, problem solving and decision making both in practice and education.
- Analysis and examination of practice including completion of the required clinical /practicum and research.
