UMST collaborated with Global Health Pharmacy Sudan 2017 to hold the certificate course Understanding the Role of Drugs, Medicines and the Pharmaceutical Industry in Global Health on campus on December 22- 24, 2017.
Global Health Pharmacy Certificate Course is an innovative course set to raise critical thinkers, specifically pharmacists in the field of Global Health.
The course director and lecturer was Professor Don Eliseo Lucero Prisno III of the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. Professor Don has published in the fields of global health and public health in scientific journals and has authored book chapters and his work has been recognized by a number of international awards including the first Global Health Promotion Practice Award by the World Health Organization (WHO) and International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE).
The course is open to all who are interested in global health and will be held in UMST’s Global Conference Center.
