Admission

In order to be eligible for admission to this programme, a candidate must at least have one of the following qualifications.

  • Ist or 2nd class B.Sc. Honors Degree in Electronic Control Engineering or equivalent internationally recognized qualifications usually in engineering and other appropriate science and technology subject areas. Other qualifications and relevant experiences will be assessed on an individual basis.
  • English Language Requirement: Applicants shall provide evidence of good command of English for writing, speaking, listening understanding and reading. A student shall possess one of the following English qualifications as minimum: UMST English Qualification Examination. An IELTS score of 5.5 minimum TOEFL score of 220 (Computer based) 550 (paper based).
  • A candidate having a B.Sc. (Third Class) in any of the above mentioned disciplines and at least one year working experience in the field of specialization is eligible for this program.

 Application for Admission:

Applications for admission to graduate studies shall be submitted to the (GC) admission officer.

The admission officer after screening applications shall send them faculty program coordinator.

At faculty of engineering and program level applicants who are eligible for admission shall be interviewed. The result of interview and recommendation of the faculty graduate committee (FGC) program committee (PC) shall be sent to Registrar of GC.

If the candidate qualified after the interview shows to be poor in computer skills, he/she must be attain an introduction to computer systems and programming course.

Registration:

A student shall be registered in graduate studies on the recommendation of FGC/PC and approval of the Dean of GC.

No student shall be allowed to enroll in more than one program of study at the same time.

Each student is required to register for the whole duration of the program.

No student allowed to register unless he/she has paid the prescribed fees.
