UMST’s Department of Architecture students will begin their zero training 4 December, 2017 to 29 January 2018.
Twenty students from Batch 1 will undertake the mandatory training at Sudan University of Science and Technology, College of Architecture and planning.
Students will receive training in:
1. Carpentry and Joinery
All architects are expected to successfully complete the training by order of the Sudanese Engineering Council (under governmental policies) to be able to practice as an architect upon graduation. Students can find the timetable here.
Head of the architecture department, Dr. Nada Mohammed Ramadan recently took the Batch 1 students on an educational trip to the Global Conference Center, ahead of their zero-training.
