International Academic Competition

A final year Batch (9) Business Administration student was selected by the US Embassy in Khartoum and the US-Sudan Business Council to join a team of four students from three universities to represent Sudan in an international academic competition known as ‘Global Business Case Competition (GBCC)’ at the University of Washington, USA.

Student El-Sayed Ahmed Asim was notified on Tuesday last week of his selection by an Embassy official based on his performance in a thorough interview conducted by a specialised panel in which 12 outstanding candidates from four universities participated, three of them were nominees from UMST. The competition will be held at the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington, USA during the period April 13-19/2015. The Faculty of Business Administration congratulates El-Sayed on his academic achievement and wishes him and his team mates all the best. It should be mentioned that Team Sudan will be the first team from Africa to compete in the GBCC.
